Why Prenam exists

Investors don’t need more noise. They need clarity.

Investing is not just about choosing a fund. It is about understanding why you are investing, what you are investing for, and whether your portfolio still makes sense as your life changes.

We are not interested in chasing whatever performed best last quarter. We would rather give you a disciplined process, research you can follow, and guidance explained in language you actually use.

A portfolio should not just look good on paper. It should make sense for the person who owns it.

What we do

Mutual funds — and nothing we can’t do properly.

We have deliberately kept our practice to one thing. Mutual fund distribution is what we know, what we are registered for, and what we can serve well for the long run.

Systematic Investment Plans

A fixed amount, invested every month, through good markets and bad. The simplest way to turn income into a long-term habit — and the one that asks least of your willpower.

How SIPs work

Lumpsum & staggered entry

Received a bonus, a maturity or a sale proceed? We help you decide whether to invest it at once or phase it in — and into what, given your timeline.

Goal-based portfolios

Retirement, a child’s education, a home, a cushion for the unexpected. Each goal gets its own horizon, its own risk level and its own set of funds.

Planning by goal

Portfolio review

Already invested somewhere else? We will read through what you hold, flag overlap and drift, and tell you plainly whether it still fits — even if the answer is that it does.

Tax-saving (ELSS)

How we work

Four conversations, then a plan you can explain to someone else.

01

We listen first

Before any scheme is named, we want to understand your income, commitments, existing investments, and what you are actually saving towards. Most of the first conversation is you talking.

02

We map goals to horizons

A goal three years away and one twenty years away are not the same problem. We separate them, assign a realistic time horizon to each, and only then think about asset allocation.

03

We put the plan in writing

You get a plain-language summary: what is being invested, into which category, why, and what could reasonably go wrong. If you cannot explain it to your spouse, we have not finished writing it.

04

We stay in the picture

Reviews at sensible intervals, not whenever markets make news. We will tell you when something genuinely needs changing — and, just as often, when it does not.

Before you commit

See the arithmetic for yourself.

Five calculators, free and open to anyone — no sign-up, no data captured. Work out what a monthly SIP could grow into, what a goal will actually cost after inflation, or how long a retirement corpus might last.

  • SIP and lumpsum growth projections
  • Reverse goal planner with inflation built in
  • Retirement corpus and drawdown estimates

Projections assume a constant annual return. Real markets do not behave that way — treat the output as arithmetic, not a forecast.

In their words

What working with us tends to feel like.

The share market has its ups and downs but my experience with Prenam Asset has been smooth and positive. I truly appreciate their clear guidance, professional approach & personal attention. What makes them different is that they value people not just numbers.

For me, good service is not just about growing money but also about building trust.

Experience shared by an investor we work with. Individual outcomes depend on scheme selection, market conditions and how long an investment is held. Nothing here is a promise of returns.
