Partner programme
For distributors who would rather advise than administrate.
If you hold an ARN and spend more of your week on paperwork, platform problems and fund research than on actually speaking to clients, there may be a sensible arrangement here.
The idea
You keep the relationship. We take the machinery.
Most independent distributors do not leave the business because they are bad at it. They leave because the operational load grows faster than the book does.
Our partner arrangement is straightforward: you remain the person your clients know and deal with, while we provide the research process, transaction infrastructure and back-office support that is uneconomical to build alone. Commercial terms are agreed in writing before anything starts, and they are not a secret.
- Your client relationships stay yours — we do not approach them independently
- Written commercial terms, agreed up front, with no claw-back surprises
- Shared research notes and category views, with the reasoning attached
- Operational help with onboarding, KYC follow-ups and transaction issues

Who this suits
Three situations where this tends to work.
The established ARN holder
You have a book you have built over years and you are good at the client-facing part. What you want is research you can lean on and someone else handling the operational tail, without surrendering your relationships.
The new distributor
You have cleared NISM VA and obtained your ARN, and you now face the gap nobody warns you about — between being qualified and knowing what to actually do on a Tuesday morning. Working alongside an established practice shortens that considerably.
The adjacent professional
Chartered accountants, insurance advisers and others whose clients regularly ask about mutual funds. A referral arrangement lets you answer that question properly without taking on a business you do not want to run.
What you get
The parts that are expensive to build alone.
Research, with the workings shown
Category views, scheme notes and the reasoning behind each one — not a recommended list handed down. You should be able to defend a recommendation to your own client, which means understanding why it was made.
Transaction infrastructure
Access to BSE StAR MF and NSE NMF II workflows, with someone to call when a mandate fails, a folio will not map or an RTA record disagrees with reality.
Onboarding and KYC support
The unglamorous work that consumes a new distributor’s week: KRA verification, document chasing, bank mandate registration and first-transaction troubleshooting.
Compliance discipline
Clarity on what a distributor may and may not say, how to keep records, and where the line sits between distribution and investment advice. This protects you considerably more than it constrains you.
Transparent commercials
A written sharing arrangement agreed before you start, with payment timelines you can plan around. If we cannot explain the terms in a paragraph, they are not terms we should be offering.
Before you apply
What the arrangement requires of you.
To distribute in your own right
- A valid NISM Series V-A certification
- An active AMFI ARN and EUIN in your own name
- Completed KYD (Know Your Distributor) formalities
Mutual fund distribution in India may only be carried out by ARN holders. We cannot and will not route business through an unregistered intermediary.
To refer only
- No ARN required — you introduce, we execute and service
- You must not advise on or recommend specific schemes
- The client relationship for the investment itself sits with us
Referral arrangements are structured to stay within what AMFI and SEBI regulations permit. The boundaries are set out in the written agreement.
Next step
Tell us about your practice.
A short note is enough to start. If there is a fit, the next step is a conversation rather than a form — and if there is not, we will say so quickly rather than leave you waiting.
